While attending Brighton High School, Chris was 2 time Conference and County Player of the Year, 2002 Mr Basketball finalist, 2002 McDonald’s All American nominee and finished his high school career ranked as a top 20 center in the nation. Chris’ high school accomplishments earned the attention of Tom Crean and Marquette University, where he played for 4 years. His experience at Marquette was highlighted by an impressive run to the Final 4 in 2003, an experience enriched by playing alongside future NBA stars such as Dwyane Wade, Travis Diener, Steve Novak, and Wes Matthews. After college, Chris took his talents overseas, playing professionally in Switzerland, Mexico, France, Macedonia and Hungary. While overseas, Chris was twice named Swiss center of the year while playing for the Lugano Tigers and SAM Basket Massagno.
Following his playing career, Chris decided to join his long time friend and coach varsity basketball in Mequon, Wisconsin for 4 years. While there, he had the pleasure of coaching and mentoring 4 future division 1 basketball players.
Chris currently lives in Rockford with his wife and 3 children. His goal is to share his passion and knowledge of the game so it continues to enrich lives and communities for generations to come.
